1. What is Platinum VIP and are you that type of owner?
Platinum is one of the the highest levels of ownership at the resort. Yes, we are Platinum VIP.
2. As a VIP Guest do I have access to VIP areas?
Yes. As our guest you will have access to the VIP areas, VIP Gourmet Restaurant, VIP World, VIP Beach, and receive Excellent Service and
VIP Benefits from this resort. You will get invited to the VIP Parties on the resort as well.
3. If I stay in a Crown Villa is the pool really private?
Yes the pool is a private pool exclusively for you and your guests in the Villa only. You still have access to all the resort pools, however no one else
has access to your private pool.
4. Will I receive the same access in this resort as you the owner?
You will not receive owner benefits which differ by contract and the type of owner. You will receive the highest level of Guest VIP that the resort offers.
The difference is very minimal, however it is the resorts way of thanking owners. The resort has very few areas that were created just for owners. The resort does have several areas that are VIP only, and you get access to all of those. Please remember that there is no higher Guest VIP than the Guest VIP that we deliver as a standard with ALL our accommodation sales. Owner only areas are as follows:
* Serenity Beach and Harmony Beach (You do have access to VIP Beach and VIP World)
* Azul Restaurant (You have access to VIP Gourmet)
* Jazz Restaurant (Unless you have rented a Presidential Suite)

5. What airports should I fly into / How long is the ride to the resort?
You will only want to fly into Puerto Plata (POP) or Punta Can (PUJ). Each are about 30 minutes from their respective resorts.
6. What is the price for the sit-down restaurants?
There is no additional fee for the sit-down restaurants. These are included with your All-Inclusive rate. Additionally, you get access to the VIP Gourmet restaurant when you book through us.
7. Are there restrictions to what restaurants I can eat at, and how many times I can go to the same restaurant?
We don't have any restrictions with our membership, however the resort will limit the number of times that you can eat at any restaurant so that all members/guests have the opportunity to make a reservation at their favorite restaurant. The resort has a dinner reservation policy, however at lunch and breakfast you can go to whatever restaurant you want. Even go to the same restaurant several times on the same day. Remember it is all you can eat ... Enjoy/Indulge!
8. Are there any other fees?
There are no hidden fees with the resort, however you will pay an entrance fee upon arrival into the Dominican Republic. This is an entrance
fee/tourist card fee for visitors and is $10.00.
9. Can I get a Villa on the beach?
We can not guarantee the location of your Villa. We will however request that from the resort, and because we are Platinum owners, our requests take priority.
10. How long does the reservation process take?
We usually have a confirmation number for your stay within 4 days. We will forward this information to you along with an airport transportation pick-up
request document.
11. What sort of transportation is there on the resort?
The resort has 24hr/day shuttle service. Just a phone call away and your private shuttle will take you to the different locations on the property. The property is not too large to walk, but they have added this luxury for convenience.
12. If I book the Villa and I only have 2 people traveling will I have to share my Villa?
NO the Villa is yours and yours only, only you and your traveling guests will be in the Villa.
13. Is the fee for the Villa, Penthouse, or Suite per week or per person?
The fee is per week! That’s right, 2 or 12 persons, same great price. The only thing you pay is the current all-inclusive fee for the number of people in your
party per day.
14. How do I arrange for airport pick-up upon my arrival into the resort?
You don't. Airport pick-up is a service that is provided for you when you book your vacation. We will request your flight information and you will be greeted at the airport with a shuttle. The resort will take care of scheduling your trip back to the airport as well. No additional fees!
15. Is there Internet service available in the Villa / Resort?
Some Villas have Internet access however most don't. Internet access is available in the VIP reservation area free and free high speed wireless is
available to you in VIP World. Internet access is available in most Presidential suites.
16. How close is the Beach from the resort?
The entire resort is located on Cofresi beach as such you will be within walking distance to the beach from any villa, penthouse, or suite.
17. Is there any refund policy ?
* There is no refund for no-shows or early departures.
* If you provide us 3 months notice, we will do our best to reschedule your trip for you. We do charge $100.00 for trip date changes. If we cannot provide
you with the dates you request (non-holiday) then we will issue you a refund for your trip. The reschedule fee only applies if we are able to get you a new
date.
* If you are only able to provide a 1 month notice (anytime between 3 and 1 month), we will do our best to reschedule your trip for you. We do charge
$100.00 for trip date changes. If we cannot provide you with the dates you request (non-holiday) then we will issue you a 50% refund for your trip. The
reschedule fee only applies if we are able to get you a new date.
* Minor date alterations (2-3 days) to accommodate flight changes will not be charged the trip change fee. However, all changes are subject to
availability.
18. Can I get a 4, 5 or 6 bedroom villa Guaranteed?
As a Platinum owner we can guarantee the number of bedrooms you request. Should the size villa you request not be available for any reason the resort will provide you with two 3 bedroom villas.
19. Are there any laundry facilities within the Villa?
No there are not any located within your villa, however the resort does offer laundry service and there are laundry facilities located within the
resort.
20. Does the Villa have a Safe for my valuables?
Yes each villa has a safe that you can rent from the VIP Check-In desk. Cost is $20.00 per week. Presidential suites come with a safe in the room.
21. I have a small pet that I usually travel with, are pets welcome?
Sorry there are no animals allowed, except for those assisting people with special needs.
22. Can I have alcoholic beverages other than beer delivered to my villa?
ABSOLUTELY. This is just another perk you have in the Villa, when you book though us. You will have a special menu to order from and alcohol will be
delivered to your villa at NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE. The limit on the amount of alcohol delivered to your villa is one bottle per PERSON per stay.
23. Does the resort offer child care?
Yes the resort does offer child care and this can be arranged at any time while at the resort (for a fee). The resort also has a Kids Club providing free activities for children during the day.
24. Do I need to bring any type of Power Adapter to the resort when I travel there?
The resort uses the same power receptacles found in the United States.
25. Do I need to exchange any U.S. Dollars for Dominican Pesos ?
No, the resort as well as all vendors that we have found take American Currency.
26. Does the resort accept Credit Cards (Visa, MasterCard, Amex) for Payments for all-inclusive ?
Yes, the resort accepts all major credit cards for all-inclusive as well as other activities.
29. Does the resort supply Hair Dryers and Irons for all rental accommodations?

ANOTHER ONE OF THOSE WOW BENEFITS! Yes, you will have a private chef cook you breakfast at the villa daily and at NO CHARGE for this service. The breakfast includes eggs, fruit, juices, meats, cheese and breads.
32. What is the Check-In and Check-Out time for the Villas and Suites ?
The Check-In time is 3:00pm and the Check-Out time is 11:30am. Remember that your unit may not always be available at the above check-in time, so sit back, relax and have a drink while the resort prepares your room for you.
33. Do you have any restrictions on check-in or check-out days and / or length of stay?
We have no restrictions on the check-in or check-out day. We suggest that you find the lowest price on your airfare and then use those dates for your
check-in /check-out dates. We find that flights are generally cheaper if you travel mid week from Tuesday-Thursday. For those traveling less than a full week, rates will be prorated.
34. Does the resort offer a crib and/or a high chair for my child?
Yes, the resort offers cribs and high chairs. We will make a note on your reservation and you may also obtain either from VIP Guest Services.
